Ted's Portfolio: The Aid of the Remixes on Ted's Narrative

My narrative was remixed by three classmates; Scott Peeples, John Monroe, and John Siewert. Each of them had a different take on my narrative and each remixed it a little differently allowing me to see different perspectives of what my narrative could become. Although I did not adopt an entire remix from any one remixer, I was able to adopted parts of each remix, in turn allowing me to produce a better narrative. Thank you all for you help on this journey.

John Monroe remixed my narrative so that it was in the first person and that gave the narrative a real voice, however I preferred to stick with my original format for the purpose of this narrative. John really contributed to my narrative by adding times that were specific and not on the hour which I thought gave the story a more factual feel. He also gave the victim and his family specific names which was great because it allows the reader to imagine this child instead of a fictional character without a name that doesn’t draw much sympathy from the reader.

Mr. Monroe thank you for your contributions.

John Siewert also remixed my narrative and was very instrumental in a great deal of my sentence restructuring. John was able to change some sentences around that really added some meat to my narrative. He also was instrumental in the changes toward the end of the narrative giving Jensen rage and also giving the reader a feeling of helplessness as Jensen reads the letter.

Mr. Siewert thank you for your contributions.

Scott Peeples was the third member rounding out the cast of remixers on my narrative. Although Scott was subtle in his helpfulness, he too, played an important role as a grammatical and sentence structure editor. He changed spelling errors and rearranged sentences to help the flow of the entire narrative.

Mr. Peeples thank you for you contributions.
